Need help with Remilo? Contact remiloapp@support.com for app support, account questions, feedback, or privacy requests. Features mentioned below may depend on your app version.
1. Contact support
Send a short description of what happened, what you expected, your Remilo app version, your iPhone model, and your iOS version. For an account issue, tell us which sign-in method you used and contact us from the account email address when possible. For Sign in with Apple, mention whether you use Hide My Email.
Screenshots are optional. Remove private notes, precise locations, and personal information unnecessary to the issue. Never send your password, authentication tokens, full payment details, or a complete backup unless we have specifically discussed the minimum information needed.

2. Signing in
Use Continue with Apple or the email-and-password entry. The email entry handles both new and existing accounts; there is no separate sign-up page. Use the same sign-in method and email address as before to return to the same account.
An Apple relay email may differ from your regular email address. A different method or address may open a different account. Remilo does not currently offer a Forgot password flow. If you cannot sign in, contact support; assistance depends on verifying ownership and the options available for your account.
3. Notes, saved places, and backups
Notes can be saved independently or linked to a place. Saved places can be marked Want to go or Visited. Your personal library stays on the device and is separated by account; it does not automatically sync between devices through Remilo.
If a library appears empty, check that you are using the same account and device. Signing out keeps the local library on that device. A different account will not show the first account's library. Reinstalling the app or switching devices can leave local content unavailable. Support cannot recover an unshared local library. Any recovery from a separate operating-system backup depends on Apple's available backup options.
Where Backup is available, it exports an unencrypted ZIP file. Store it somewhere you trust and share it only with intended recipients. Remilo currently has no in-app restore or import. Signing in again does not automatically restore an export. Avoid uninstalling the app as a troubleshooting step when you need to preserve local content.
4. Location, photos, camera, and notifications
Open iOS Settings, find Remilo, and review its available permissions. Location is used while you use the relevant feature; you can also enter or choose a place manually where supported. To add a photo, use the system photo picker or grant camera access when taking a new photo. Selecting individual photos does not require permission to read the entire library.
If a permission was denied, check iOS Settings before trying again. Manage notifications there as well when available. Declining advertising tracking permission does not prevent you from using the personal note and place tools.
5. Delete an account or make a privacy request
Use Delete account in the app where available. You can also email remiloapp@support.com with the subject "Delete my Remilo account" or "Remilo privacy request." Tell us which account and sign-in method the request concerns. We may ask for limited information to verify ownership; we will never ask for your password.
Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your server-side account. Successful account deletion through the app removes that account's local library on the device performing the deletion. Exports and copies on other devices require separate handling. Limited information may be retained where required by law or for reasons described in the Privacy Policy. We respond to privacy requests within the periods required by applicable law.
6. Purchases, if applicable
For purchases or subscriptions billed by Apple, review your Apple purchase history and subscription settings. Apple handles its own refund requests. Deleting an account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. For a charge from an external provider, contact the seller identified on the receipt. Send us a redacted receipt if you need help identifying the relevant service.
7. Policies and feedback
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Our Terms of Use explain the rules for using Remilo. Both are included with the app and published alongside this support page. Report a problem or suggest an improvement at remiloapp@support.com.
